Early Life

Marcus Bryce was born as Wesley Paul on 23 October in Haarlem in the Netherlands, the son of aruban Father and dutch Mother.

He showed musical interest at an early age and learned to play the Drums at the age of 6. 

But the most influence of music comes from his father who is also a musician on different types of instruments and studio engineer.

But mostly the guitar. 

At the age of 13 he played in different bands, show bands and orchestra bands.  

Sometimes even join his father for jam sessions at bar and spots in Haarlem on the Friday's in Crackers and Mike’s Place. 

At the age of 14 he went to a boarding school for inland navigation. 

There he was introduced to a different kind of music called rap (Hip-Hop). 

His roommate Dylan learned him the basics of making lyrics on instrumental beats. 

After boarding school at age of 16 he started to perform this way of music live on stages. But at the age of 18 his dj career started.

CAREER

At the age of 18 he began his journey as South Menace.

His first touch with dj career was at the Youth Center ' the BukBuk ' in Heiloo. Here he learned the basic of the dj and beat matching and track search! This he learned from a experienced DJ after that he immediately loved it. This began his career as a DJ! He was soon influenced by EDM music, dance, house, urban, Latin & Reggaeton. Still though many flavors that attracted him in the music world!

In 2014 played on birthday parties for his friends and later, even friends of his friends. Because u need to start anywhere to show your skills and learn more how to perform for public! But every birthday he gets good feedback! Even that his show was on a good level and people dance every single song! Later In 2014 he played at local bar called ' café de Scala' with a well-known local DJ named: DJ Bullit! Where they played for a packed house and that was his first touch with the audience that goes out and party in bars and clubs!

In the end of 2015 was his first solo gig as Dj for public in the Buona Sera Uitgeest. Where he earned his first resident dj spot! For a whole year! Twice a month with a full show! But soon he became notice by the audience who have never heard of him! That made him a favorite dj under the public! that visit the 'Buona Sera' every weekend!

April 2016, he was notice by the Mex Beachbar in Castricum! That worked with event organization! His way in was a birthday party of his friends! after that events booked him a lot  to Preform! Like Double Dutch Events, WKND Events, Moombahlicious, Wild Events, Sappig Events, Knap Lastig Event, Augusta Events and many more!  He was getting much contacts and friendship by that way. There he started the pre-shows/closing show for events where names such as Giocatori, Team Rush Hour, Dopebwoy and many more! He still today is a resident dj at that club renamed The Nex Castricum Later in 2017 he also got booked for bigger events like WKND Festival Under 18! With big artist added to the lineup known as SBMG, Lil Kleine and many more!

Now he won't be a Unknown name on events and in the clubs and small festivals! Even in December 2018 with his own stage on  Woodlands Festival Indoor in Alkmaar. Radio show debut on Club radio Zaandam. His every year his birthday party as dj that grows bigger by the years! work hard for it that's made his brand grow!  2019 his road still continues every day he learns more and work together with some local dj where he learn a lot form! With a resident spot on Events like 'De Avond School'. And even started his own events 'Salut' and started Salut Events. Also get to know more people and contact like Sunny Bass & Jordi Rivera (Signed by Armin van Buuren his Label) and Daniel Diego sometimes MC for them. After that he started project 2020 (The Road to the new name where he is currently under) !Since 10 of January he took the name Marcus Bryce Now busy with live mix on the account of Adrian Noble one of the dj friends of Marcus.
